Chief Technology Officer Kaie Hansson
Education: I graduated from the Audentes University with Information Technology speciality. Previously, I had been studying applied mathematics for three years in Tartu University. Competence: When studying in Audentes University and simultaneously working in the Hospital (Tartu University), I was specialising in data security and software development. As part of my profession, I have been necessitated to keep posted on various IT spheres (servers, communications networks, administration and security of work stations, programming), which have formed a very firm basis for my specialisation in data security. Interests: I have no specific interests, since my profession has always offered me so many challenges that, in order to handle them, one has to deal constantly with studying something interesting – management theories, human psychology, knacks of public performance, best security holes. I relieve all my tensions with music – trance and hip-hop are my favourites. All possible kind of moving, incl. basketball and dancing – mmm… nice. Personal characteristics: My hot temperament and revolt against people that take things half-heartedly, has gained me both friends and opposers. I have the optimism and cogency of many people in me. I am scrupulous as well, since I like things accurately and properly. I can see the details and I can see the whole as well, i.e. I have a very strong analysis and synthesis capability. Languages: Estonian is my indisputable favourite. I fully enjoy the Russian language and literature as well. German and English are necessary in my work as well as for communicating with many of my friends.
Family: My husband is Rein and I have three children – Kadi, Grete
and Hans-Kristjan. |

Record of service: There have been only two positions in my record
of service – for 4 years I was heading the development of data security
and special software in Tartu University Hospital foundation, and before
that, I was the IT manager in the Tartu Post Office of Estonian Post.
